Missing wide open shots in rhythm.  What can you do?
drive to the hoop?  back door cut to the hoop?  move in from the 3 point line for an easier shot?

Our offense looks barren. Kyrie cannot find his shot and we look bad missing every shot we take.

So, Kyrie got another blatant off-ball charge there on Hill that the refs just chose to ignore.

That's what's so frustrating with NBA officiating - it's so arbitrary. Sometimes they call those, and other times they just let it go. There's just no consistency whatsoever, and it's ridiculous.

I thought Kyrie took a clean charge.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

If Tatum would like to show up this series that’d be really nice

jeez, only way to get a charge on Giannis is it has to be that obvious

and forget travels... those don’t exist.

Mind boggling that the NBA thinks this is a good product. Imagine if the Sixers and Bucks advance. The games will be 5 hours between Giannis and Embiid shooting fts.

Nothing is falling and the Celts have no answer but to keep creating and jacking long jumpers.

I just don't see how a team is going to seriously contend for a championship without a way to reliably get opportunities to score near the basket or at the free throw line.

You need to be able to hit a lot of shots from outside to play at a high level in today's NBA, but if those shots aren't falling, you need to have a way to get shots inside.  The Celts simply can't do it against tough defenses.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Will we shoot a free-throw this game?

So upset that Tatum did not get stronger over last summer. Games like this when he is struggling he should be putting the ball on the court going to the basket for some and 1s.

It's because we're back to nothing but chucking threes again. On at least three occasions Kyrie has passed out of an open/semi-open look at the rim or in the paint for a three point shot. Not going to beat Milwaukee like that.

Watch what happens when we drive (which we’re doing a lot actually).  Two guys waiting the at the rim every time.

The answer to that may be a certain unibrowed big-man

If you go to the basket you will. If you keep taking long jumpers good luck with that.
