News and Notes
Dec 15 O'Neal (knee) could return to practice as soon as the weekend of the 18th, the Boston Globe reports.
Recommendation: O'Neal doesn't figure to be more than a rotational fixture in Boston's lineup upon his return, making him a general non-factor in the fantasy world, but the Celtics could use his return given that Kevin Garnett and Glen Davis are the only healthy, proven big men they have at the moment.

Wow! Could have both O'Neals ready for the Magic on Christmas Day.
We all think we know more than we really do....

Getting Jermaine back would be huge for the team. Having an additional defensive player with length will help the team a lot.

His return before next season is a fantasy.

I understand people's frustration about his absence thus far, but this guy can be a huge part of our run to No 18. A vet big man with length could be invaluable. I'd welcome him back..

Whatever...DA should have never signed the guy. I expect him to play 20 games at a mediocre level and then get hurt again.

Good we need Jermaine back, but only if he is one hundred percent healthy.  I'd rather him rest most of the year and be healthy for the stretch run of the season and playoffs.

That would be really nice.  Our margins are getting uncomfortably thin with Semih in such a prominent role.

Practice?  Are we talkin' 'bout PRACTICE?!

sorry, just an Iverson flashback there.

I'll get excited (moderately) when he sees the court during an actual game

I would throw him back in right now if he's healthy, the hell with practice, we have no centers men other than Erden

Tommy and Mike said before the game tonight that if he looks good tomorrow, he could play Sunday against the Pacers.
