Marcus Smart is getting owned by Jeremy Lamb!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I think some of you that are arguing that Smart's defense is OVER-rated might be on to something!!

The players I am willing to trade with a Nets' pick are in this order:

Smart
Crowder
Bradley.

I am more than willing to trade Olynyk, but what the heck would he bring??:-))

I do NOT want to trade Horford YET as this would send a bad message to agents and players.

I do NOT want to trade IT yet.

I do not want to trade Rozier or Brown.

Of course, I would LOVE to trade Zeller after January 15th.

Sorry for the rant.

This game is depressing.

Marcus Smart takes 2 shots for the half, basically invisible

Its almost like these guys get in the way of themselves.

2 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists. Definitely invisible... He's doing things to help this team win, and he's picking his spots offensively, which is exactly what he needs to do.

We need a center and we are right back in it.  Boogie man. That's my hot take though.  where's trickybilly.  I think it was him who said he was going to explode if someone said that one more time.

;) he would definitely be handy in a game like this.

We could use Emma from the halftime juniors game.  She's a beast of an offensive rebounder.

1 and done!

This team is just mellow to me.  Crowder, Bradley and Smart are supposed to be the best defensive wing trio  in the world.  Horford is the most mellow player i've ever seen.

im talking about his offensive production in scoring. Im not even hating on him, this team just gets in the way of eachother, everything changes, when IT is in everybody else as obviously as it is drops off, when he is gone the other guys become more of themselves. I might think Smart sucks on offense but now he won't get many shots, and def not get good ones. Somebody has to go.

Huh? He got backdoored once that was poor defense by Smart, but him shooting over Smart and making it is not bad defense. You can play perfect defense and still get scored on by a step-back - that's just how basketball works. Good offense can beat good defense. Defense is just meant to make it difficult for the offensive player, which is all that you can ask from good defenders.

IT and Rozier regularly give up tons of points to opposing guards by losing their man, bad rotations, or getting driven by, yet you're really complaining about our best perimeter defender by far because a taller player is shooting over him?

Good grief, I don't understand some people's expectations.

Horford needs to lay off doing bong hits with Parish before the game though.

That's just how IT plays, and we kind of just have to accept it right now. I hate it, too, but he's our best option offensively. I think we could make him a bit better by playing him more off the ball and having someone like Smart initiate the offense more. But Brad just doesn't want to do that apparently.

Gorman just said only three assists for the starting unit so far, i.e. the IT effect.

Defensive intensity just isn't there from last year. That's for sure.

I'm about done with Crowder and his stupid lazy passes. Let's just go Brown from here on out. At his ceiling is huge.
