The Celtics need to close this series out now.  I think back to that Celtics/Sixers series in Bird's second season.  Philly led 3-1 and didn't close it out.  They let the Celtics hang around and eventually win it.  Celtics NEED to end this series tonight.  To do otherwise might not be good for my mental well being.

As others have been saying the Celtics cannot afford to lose tonight and allow the Hawks to extend the series.

Boston has many nagging injuries that seem to keep popping up and they need rest.

If the Hawks win tonight they will feel confident and have a realistic shot to win this series in their minds.  They just got an All star caliber player back in Al Horford which helps fortify their inside presence which can hurt the Celtics.  One thing lost in the C's blowout was just how well Horford played in his first game back in months.

Boston needs to withstand a likely Hawks surge and gut out this win.  The team needs time to rest and get healthy and tonight is the perfect time to end this series...

I missed the last two games. So Al Horford is back. Was he any good in game four?

Can be a difference maker in this game? Or is he still very limited from his injury?

We need some others to step up tonight for PP and Ray & AB.

Maybe Bass , Steamer, Moore , Sasha , Quis, can add some   Offense.

Atlanta is do or die on their own court , they will come at us both fist flying and try and knock us out the first ten minutes.

We have to keep it close to win this.

Atlanta wants a REVENGE BLOW OUT.

C's do yourselfs a favor and equal their energy.

Time to end it.  Not only could we use the rest, with the way stars are dropping like flies in these playofs (knock on wood), the fewer games we play, the better.

He came off the bench last game (it was his 1st), and although I didn't watch a lot of it, he seemed good for a guy who's been out for months and months. He seemed to get more in the rhythm with Smith as the game progressed.

Celtics need to play their game. The Hawks will try hard to avoid elimination, and our Celtics need to keep their heads clear and play smart ball, Celtic ball.

4-1 would be great. Go Celtics!!

Yup maybe even being a little dirty, like Josh Smith last game intentionally looking at Pierces knee and trying to hook it.

He looked real good.  Since the injury was to his pec, it didn't affect his legs or his conditioning at all, and it showed.  But he won't make much difference.  Celtics are just better, Horford or no Horford.

According to Joe Johnson he "doesent know if the effort is gonna be there" talking about his own team.

I told you not to overextimate this terrible Hawks team. They are extremely mentally weak and will roll over. They know this is over.
