I'd like to see Joe stick with Stevens for a handful of games.  Give him a chance to get back up to game speed and develop some chemistry with his teammates.  He has a skillset that we could benefit from, so let's see if there's anything there.

I thought the defense looked better with L Stevens in there against J Allen than we did with the double big with Kornet last game.

He looked good.

Scal is right. It's been awhile since we've had a real speedy, shifty guard like the Cavs' guards. Probably IT was our last one? Even Kyrie isn't super speedy like that; rather, he uses his elite ball-handling and footwork to get his offense in.

Yeah, I am always surprised at how little elite speed Kyrie has. He is a lot closer to average speed for a PG. I believe that is why he has to over-dribble so much to setup his defender to blow by him. Similar to James Harden. They have to lull the defender to sleep and pick their moments in order to make up for their lack of high end speed.

Man, we've got to take better care of the ball. Giving up so many opportunities by giving the ball away.

That was a nice setup for Dean Wade. You couldn't ask to be any more wide open than that. Still couldn't make the shot.

That was a nice drive by Horford to avoid the charge.

Not easy for a big guy.

Holy crap.  That's one of the worst foul calls I've ever seen.

Oh my God, go back to high school Natalie Sago! How does she even get to ref these games anymore? Consistently terrible.

Agree.  He picked up quick fouls which I mostly attribute to being out-of-sync.  A foul on Mitchell for being too aggressive.  A couple of other fouls where he was a step late (and one of them was arguably bogus).  I'd expect him to smooth those types of fouls out with more playing time.

Don't give up on him.  Throw him back out there for a few games and give him a chance.
