Could see this being a good option considering our limited roster spots

Guys like Maledon & Pokusevski are definite stash options in our range. The latter is one who could probably do with another year of development overseas, as he’s a 7’ 200lb playmaker. Needs to build some strength
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Yes, two really good, big (6'5") Point Guards, Killian Hayes and Theo Maledon, if our Memphis pick gets better, although Hayes may have risen too high for us to grab him. Both from France I think.

I don't see draft and stash as an option with our top pick if it winds up in the lottery, unless Ainge absolutely loves a Euro there. Our roster isn't good enough to turn our nose up at a 10th-14th pick. Wannamaker will likely leave, Kanter might, and Green certainly isn't guaranteed a spot. And since Brad has decided to rest anyone who gets a hangnail, a pick that high would get an opportunity to play.

Could see it with the later picks. Ainge could stash one and/or try to push one of them into 2021 like he did last year.

It’s not clear if Hayes is open to a draft-and-stash arrangement.

I agree Hayes likely gets drafted at a point where a stash is very unlikely. Maledon would be a nice option with the Memphis pick if he is willing to stash. He may even be worth trading up to get if he is willing to stash for a season.

The euro stash is grown overseas and only comes over when it has fully developed.
