I wonder why V.Carter and D.Harris didn't start the 3rd?...think they are trying to wait and bring them in for the 4th to get back in the game?

Injuries.  To their pride.

When you're down by 25+ you may just
as well try something else.
VC has like 4 (?) pts, Harris 7.
Brook Lopez is the only Net who
is bringing something.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I think Scal had an epiphany.

Something to do with him realizing he gets millions to play basketball maybe.

Let's hope he keeps this up the rest of the season.

Air Intangibles - The Abomination of Domination
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Doc doesnt look to impressed with this 2nd half...

*I* am not particularly impressed by this 2nd half.

Nor am I.  Now it's 20 points going into the fourth.  The Nets played their bench and the C's played their starters most of the third.  Our starters are going to need to rest at some point while there starters have done that already.

Second unit needs a real center. Looks like it's a tryout between Powe and Baby again to see who will get to be the backup 4.

Yeah, true.  It occurred to me that this thrashing could set back Harris' confidence even more, so time to get him out of the mess might be the right coaching decision.  I'll confess I don't care about VC's confidence or lack thereof.

VC must be hurt or something.
Like you say, not that we care.
But I can't remember seeing him
taking it to the hole once in
this game. Harris and VC don't
look too sad on the bench, though.
They must be thinking about their
pay checks  ;)

The Nets announcers are saying they've been benched.

I was at work until the fourth quarter, so I've missed most of the good stuff.

I've liked what I've seen out of Walker/Pruitt.

Woah, this is the first time I've been on the internet in almost a month, as I'm travelling around Europe. Things looked bad for a while from what I read, but the boxscore seems okay to me today ;)
Is Perk injured? Tony? I've obviously missed some stuff since the Christmas Day game eh?

Tony and Perkins are both hurt. Perk is expected to play Monday, I don't know about Tony.

Pruitt has played pretty well in his absence. Walker is also getting some minutes that Tony used to get.
