Brad Stevens is one heck of a coach. He may not have the weight of Doc Rivers, but the guy is perfect for this team at this time..
in a few years he will widely be considered one of the best coaches in the league. another great move by danny.

Crowder is so annoying.

STOP CHUCKING!!!

He does shoot some bad shots some nights but seems to have the timing to shoot some good ones as well.

I just think he trying to get better, and give the team what it needs. IMO he's an asset.

Answer this:

DOes IT win the SMOTY Award if he keeps this up AND we miss the playoffs?
I think Darrell Armstrong got the year Orlando finished 41-41 but just missed out on playoff spot. Doc's first year as a head coach. I think ... not 100% sure.

Edit: No. I am wrong. Armstrong got it in 98-99 when Orlando went 33-17 in lockout season.

i have to say, the pels either have one crappy coach, are crappy at executing, or both. god, i could not believe how many ill advised shots they took. it was ugly basketball punctuated by occasional sensational plays by individual players.

over the past few weeks, i am beginning to see a future for the celtics, sooner than i expected.

I feel the same way. I wish we had a higher pick, but man, I love watching the basketball we've been playing since the All Star Break. Let's go C's!
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Yep, tough call. Think you still have to give it to him if he keeps this up, though. Hell, he's averaging over 20 points a game off of our bench!

I agree.....he got sooooooo little play n time on the Mavs .....when they got Parsons he never saw the court.

I think he is a decent shooter and may just need court time...which the Mavs never develop players ....or play draft picks
