oh for god sakes.

Boston plays better without Rondo.

yup. For some reason everyone looks more energized and relaxed. Probably bc they don't have to hear Rondo barking at them

we played the same way as the last games, just made some important shots and charlotte doesnt have great shooters

are you going to give PRessey any credit? His defense was big. That last rebound tip effort was probably the game saving play.  He had 13 assist tonight? with several more secondary assists

what has presseys nice game to do with the fact that we basically played the same like the last 2 games?

difference was: detroit and atlanta made shots, that charlotte didnt

Oof.  This one hurts the tanking efforts.  Oh well.  Can't win them all.  At least the players get to enjoy another win.

What's the apologist's explanation for this?  Why does it seem that when Rondo sits, the team shares the ball better and they have more success.  Tonight... 6 players in double figures... 4 have 18+ points.

It's not like they are good without him... but they aren't worse.
The C's shot 52% from the field, 48% from three and 100% from the free throw line.

I don't care who is playing PG, if this C's team shoots like that, they are winning a bunch of games.

they shot like that bc the ball was moving around.  When has the team shot like that with Rondo playing in the last several games?? All of a sudden Green , AB, Bass, KO shoot well , all at once?

It has to do with Rondo not playing

Yeah.   This year:  6-23 (.206) with Rondo...   18-32 (.360) without him.

I think the kids enjoy sharing the ball.  I think Stevens enjoys players who play within his system.  It'll be really interesting to see if we actually keep Rondo next season.  I was pretty sure that if a trade was going to happen it would have happened during the deadline... but I get why so many people think he's going to be shipped out on draft day.

Nice win for the kids.  We'll likely drop to #6 in the tank race by the end of the season.  Should still get a nice player in the 6-8 range when we pick.

Oh please.

The ball moved as well tonight as it did versus Detroit, Atlanta and Philly. The Celtics shot marginally better than the last three losses and Charlotte shot poorly at the end whereas Philly, Atlanta and Detroit didn't.

That's the difference.

If you say so. The only kids who wont be in the league MAYBE are CJ and Babb... more likely that Babb will be the only one of them that wont, if any.
