Miami Heat: Marcus Smart, Daniel Theis, Celtics 2022 1st, Celtics 2023 second

Boston Celtics: Duncan Robinson, Meyers Leonard

This trade actually works for both teams, Smart balances out Herro's defensive weakness' and offers another passing outlet. Robinson adds scoring and deep shooting threat that the Celtics sorely need and if im right we can afford to resign him because Robinson qualifies for bird rights this season and are traded with him.

Adebayo, Olynyk, Butler, Herro, Smart

Thompson, Tatum, Robinson, Brown, Walker

I've had the thought that perhaps Duncan R might be somewhat overvalued here based on his performance in the ECF last season.    But.... that 44% 3pt percentage looks to be just what the 'DR' ordered.

I guess I'd be surprised if Miami would change their approach given what's been working for them?

That's why Celtics need to attach picks plus currently Miami rank 23rd in defensive effeciency, they need Smart and he fits perfectly with 'Heat Culture'.
