  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
unless I'm getting college drunk with my friends from...well college, I will only drink from a bottle or mug. Cans make things taste mettalic.

Although, as far as college drunk+summer go, I did find this cup at a garage sale shaped like a tiger that has a head that flips up and down like the cover of a stein. Keeps skeeters out and makes everything look tackily cooler. Tigerstein.

Beer just goes down a lot quicker/easier for me in a bottle.

We used to use the pewter beer steins, kept in the freezer. Otherwise, bottles. I don't think much of the beer I drink even comes in cans.

Pewter, not glass? Don't you find that it leaves an aftertaste?

I'll have to pass on the question since I'm on Danny Ainge's team.   :)

Don't drink beer.  Think it's the most disgusting drink next to coffee.

Wow really? Not to sound stupid, but how is that?

I grew up in a town with one small family from the LDS Church, and they were remarkably isolated, but I never knew if it was self imposed or because the town just didn't identify with them.

That must have just been a weird family.  I don't know what you mean by isolated, but none that I know are like that.  Most I know are prominent in the community in one way or another and I'm in the south.  We just don't drink.

I'm glad Danny's long marriage to Michelle is well known here or my comment could have taken a completely different turn.   ;)

I like dark beers and usually go with a drafts at the bar, but I do most of my drinking on the beach where bottles are no bueno.

For a long day in the sun on the sand, there is no substitute for an icy cooler full of these-

By isolated I mean their kids didn't really play with other kids growning up, as teenagers we never saw them outside of class, parents were a mystery...

I thought it way maybe because practically my whole home town is roman catholic.

Nah, it sounds like family was just different.  I grew up around nothing but Baptists and I didn't become a recluse.
