The Cavs are in trouble. They need to trade for a big man soon.

They need anyone who is interested in playing defense.  Letting the Mavs get open 3pt shots is understandable but I couldn't believe all those breakdowns where they let the Mavs get easy layups/dunks in the half court.

Although I was all in for us trading for Love before the Cavs got him, my major concern was that we would still be a weak defensive team, he's not the two-way big man I would hope to pay max money to. So far his stint on the Cavs, with a better group of talent than we would have had with Rondo here, is making me happy we didn't land him this summer.

The Cavs don't have any good salary matches besides Waiters so there's not a realistic trade for Wright and Bass.  I still think a trade built around Green to Memphis, Koufos to Cleveland and Prince plus a Cav's 1st to Boston would be a reasonable trade for each team.  Regarding the picks, Chicago has the right to swap 1sts with Cleveland so it wouldn't be a very good pick this year.  I'd rather take a chance on the Cav's protected 1st they have from Memphis.

Kyrie supposedly wasn't feeling well. I think he had a case of the Rondo's....nasty disease that is.

"The Rondo's" as this terrifying malady is called - causes its hapless victim to inexplicably play bad..causing turnovers and making a supposed All-Star PG look bad.

Westbrook has already been bitten by the bug (6-23 effort)...John Wall was forced into pedestrian statistics because of it.

Next to catch "The Rondo's"? CP3. There is reportedly no cure for this stuff.

The background on this disease is that it originated in the NE, in BOS...it reportedly waned over the last two years, but even THAT report is suspect, because the reported carrier of the disease STILL averaged nearly 2 steals.

The reported source of this disease is not even Rajon Rondo...he is the current carrier of it, but supposedly it was passed onto him by THIS guy:



In any event, get well, Kyrie. You won't have the catch The Rondo's again until next year.

I'm so glad that I stopped watching sportscenter and anything else related to espn around 2 years ago.  It's just like when Tony Allen left - I couldn't be happier, lol.

How is that a nice day? We have their pick, every loss for Clips is a win for us, especially because they are in the WC. Not only that, hopefully with every Lakers win they make their odds worse when it comes to keeping their pick.

Clips miss playoffs, we get a lottery pick... not likely but you should always want them to lose until we don't have any skin in it.

Lakers giving up their pick to the Suns will be one of the best days if it happens... paid Kobe all that money, no other stars, and NO new young stud from a nice lottery pick!

Clips lose for our lottery and Lakers win just enough to give up that pick, that will make a wonderful year!!!!
