Devers hasn't cooled off a bit! And I can't believe how well E-Rod's doing tonight—if he can shut down a very talented Dodgers lineup, he should be able to shut down just about anyone.

He really hasn't. And yeah, E-Rod was nails tonight. That changeup was nasty and his command was great. Too bad we have another rain delay, as if 6 hours worth of rain delays in Detroit wasn't bad enough.

Curious to see what the Sox do at the trade deadline. Would like to see them get another pitcher and try to go for another World Series. Would also like to see Mookie sign an extension (though I think it's unlikely.)

Good pickup for a good price. Two international FAs that are under 18 and not ranked in our top 30 prospects. Also he'll likely be under control for more than just this year.

If he can continue this great season, this is a tremendous pickup of a 5th starter that allows Eovaldi to go be their closer. Things could be looking up for the Sox in this 2nd half.

Nice pick-up getting Cashner. Will be alot better than seeing Velasquez stink up the joint. Cashner is also more of a power pitcher.

Was hoping they would've gotten Zack Wheeler (as was rumored) but I think the Sox are also in a position where they really can't wait too much longer.

Of course none of this matters if Sale is going to suck the rest of the season. He has to turn it around and so far, it's just more of the same tonight.

I don't think Sale has been that bad tonight. Actually, I think his command has been pretty good so far. Don't forget he's playing one of the best teams in baseball tonight.

But so far this season, Price and ERod have been our two most reliable pitchers.
