Millsap gone!

$10 million for Millsap? Yeah, I'd rather have someone like Baynes or Ibaka for that kind of money.

Although at this rate, Ibaka will get $15-20 million
I'm bitter.

Ibaka is worth that. Still a very good player.

Right now we have (guards: Walker, Smart, Pritchard) - (wings: Tatum, Brown, Nesmith) - (bigs: Theis, R.Williams, G.Williams) under contract as likely rotation players. Biggest need to me is a PF.

Options: Millsap, Saric, Hernangomez, Portis, Thompson, Ilyasova (my favourite)
Portis signed with MIL

TP.  Thank you, missed that.

Rondo posted an iG story from Atlanta. Looks like he's going to the Hawks.
2yr/15M with the Hawks.

They signed Kris Dunn as well, didn't they?

Why would Atlanta want Dunn and Rondo? They got Trae Young as their franchise PG. There is not many minutes at backup PG to begin with.

Dunn for the regular season and Rondo for the (hopefully) playoffs.

Okay, Danny, need to start making some decisions. Just lost Millsap and can’t afford to lose many more options.

Holding out hope for the Hayward TPE to materialize and go for a Boggy S&T, though I know that’s wishful thinking at this point. Anyone know what kind of contract Boggy is looking forward? $70 over 4 years territory?

Two guys with weak jump-shots?

I don't see that working out.

With teams like the Hawks, Hornets and others spending some $$ to put together competitive teams, I have to wonder if the new playoff system with the play-ins for the last 2 spots in each conference is already having an effect against tanking?

Owners could be salivating at the chance of playoff game revenues.

Boggy S&T would be very nice. Could fill in Hayward's bench scoring very nicely. There's no way Danny goes into this offseason with no backup option after losing Hayward?

It can't be  :) :)

When the spending frenzy is over there will probably at least a couple of solid players left with no options.

Are we one of them? I wouldn't mind him for the minimum (Charlotte is already paying his salary)

He'll probably get better offers than that, though

signals Batum agent

honestly who is going to be interested?  He barely played in the last 2 seasons.  He was buried deep into the bench last season

why not bring in cousins?  he could be an actual player if he's healthy.   fire brad if he can't coach him.
