Right now we have (guards: Walker, Smart, Pritchard) - (wings: Tatum, Brown, Nesmith) - (bigs: Theis, R.Williams, G.Williams) under contract as likely rotation players. Biggest need to me is a PF.

Options: Millsap, Saric, Hernangomez, Portis, Thompson, Ilyasova (my favourite)

Are we one of them? I wouldn't mind him for the minimum (Charlotte is already paying his salary)

He'll probably get better offers than that, though
I'm bitter.

What do people think Millsap will cost? I'd like to see us sign him, but only if we can get another C to go with him

Would he be looking for the full MLE, or something like the BAE?

Probably the BAE. At least I hope.

If it's the BAE, then sign me right up. That would help a ton with both a veteran presence and some bench scoring.

I'm guessing with several suitors it's the MLE or close to all of it. Can always break the MLE up, I believe. Don't forget we have the Kanter TPE, too, which I believe is close to the level of the taxpayer's MLE.

I'd have no interest in him for $9.2m. I think we can get someone a little younger there.

I agree -- full MLE seems too much.  But for now it's an unknown what he's being offered.

I like Batum as well but thought he was pretty much cooked.

Free agency options really drying up for the Celts.

Millsap gone!

well that is disappointing.  I guess 10 mil to go back to Denver is better than less than 1/2 that with the C's.

We’re gonna end up with Baynes and IT and the front office will try to convince us that was the plan all along.
