Per Shams, Nuggets acquiring JaMychal Green 2yr/15M (2nd year PO).

Smart move. Very good signing. Just as good a player as Jerami Grant. $7.5mil per year vs $20mil per year.
Reportedly the Nuggets also offered Grant 3yr/60M but Grant preferred the Pistons since he'd have a bigger role.  So the Nuggets are more luckily unlucky than smart.

My prediction is that Hayward can't work out a deal with another team the C's approve of, can't stomach going to the Knicks, decides to stay and we sign Baynes.

We don't lose anyone that matters. Tatum, Brown, the Williams's, Langford and Waters get a year older. Baynes covers a problem area with bigger centers. We get a bench shooter in the draft, and a backup option at point.

Not too bad, actually.
Yeah, but not too great either.  I'm tired of "settling".  Need that Turner deal, IMO, then sign Noel or whoever for center depth.

Would be funny to resign him on a 3 year deal then trade him as soon as possible to Cleveland or somewhere like that

I think Hayward burned the celtics bridge. Team has been nothing but accomodating to him from day one and he is not happy enough with not playing for a winning team while making a hundred million dollars.

Does that mean the Hawks are out regarding Rondo?

One would assume. Personally love that signing for Atlanta.

Im surprised Ibaka to the Lakers didn't happen. He would have been a great fit, but they definitely did well with Harrell.

Where does Ibaka end up now? He'd look great on the Sixers but I don't know if they have the cap space for him.

I’d say back to Toronto.

But I’d gladly take him here.

Yeah its looking more and more like he stays with the Raptors but as you say, he'd be great here if we can get him.

That's a good pick up.  I assume this plus the Portis deal means the Bogdanovic deal is dead and buried.

I like Augustin. Would've been a good back up here.

I'd rather have Baynes than Turner. He knows how to play here and he's an oak tree of a guy. Turner is pretty big, and just having another fairly skilled center helps, but he isn't any more physical than Theis inside.
