Pre injury version.

Only 20 years old. Still skinny, but already amazing. Loves the 4th quarter. Cant wait to see how much better he will be with added 15 pounds of mass

The one thing CBS didnt do correct tonight is ride the hot hand, continously feed Tatum the ball and let him go ISO with 7 min left

I think Jaylen is a closer comp for Paul Geroge. High end defensive player best as a second option on offense who scores 21-24. Tatum can be a better offensive player than George.

Jaylen is not reliable in the 4th quarter. And plays a different game. Is not a natural shooter

Also is like 6'6 vs George/Tatum who are closer to 6'9.

I disagree. Even pre-injury PG never averaged over 22ppg, and post injury has maxed out at 23.7. I reckon Tatum will be a better scorer than that, as his in-between game and 3 point shot are at a crazy level for a rookie.

PG isn't the most reliable guy either. He choked pretty hard this playoffs. JB is a much better comparison for PG

Nah-Tatum will be a KD/Pierce hybrid while Jaylen will be a Butler/Kawhi hybrid.

Jaylen to Butler comparison is decent

Dont see Tatum to KD comparisons. KD is 7'0 with a 7'6 wingspan freak that is nearly unstoppable when dialed in

It's definitively Brown! If we need to choose someone to be traded from duo Tatum/Brown, it has to be Brown. Tatum is too precious...

People already forgot how clutch George was with Indy and gave Lebron all he could handle in the playoffs.

Hence I said KD/Pierce hybrid. Also Tatum might grow a bit, and rn he's 6'9 or so with a really long wingspan. Obviously he'll likely never be KD type of long but it's not impossible to say that he'll be something like 6'10 with a 7'4 wingspan. That's still hella long lol.

And they play similarly. Assassins from range, good handles, efficient from everywhere. Tatum tries to create more separation than KD, who simply just rises up defended or not

Yeah because KD's extra inches is just that OP. And that's why I linked Tatum to Pierce as well, he creates separation a bit like Pierce.

Yeah, it really is unfair when you can casually shoot over Trevor Ariza like he's not even there.

Tatum is Pierce-like in the way he uses his body

Brown doesn't have the handles PG has.
