Wow. Th Sugar Bowl could have had 7th ranked Boise St. Instead they went with Virginia Tech and Michigan.  It's so obvious what the BCS tries to do. Definitely a bowl worth boycotting

Nice to see Barkley forgo on the '12 draft and come back to USC for one more year.

I hate Kiffin but the Trojans are gonna be a national title contender next year and Barkley will be a Heisman frontrunner.

I haven't seen a game as good as the Outback Bowl, (Michigan State/Georgia), in a loooooooong time ... what a great fought, exciting, three-overtime game! (Loved the outcome, too).

Robert Griffin is coming out. So if you are Indy do you go RG3 or Luck?

I think I might go with RG3? He looks better and more pro offense ready than Cam Newton did and Newton was pretty dang great this year.

Either way, Minnesota will be very happy with whoever is left over.

Does Minny take another QB after having drafted Ponder or do they take an OL on Blackmon? Who does STL trade their pick too?

Indy will go Luck if they keep the pick. Almost certain of that.

Under the assumption that Manning comes back, from skillset standpoint, wouldn't Luck be the perfect guy to learn under him for a year or tw?

Ponder is a nice story but lets be realistic, Minnesota has a chance at a 12-14 year elite franchise quarterback. Ponder just has never shown that either in college or the pro game.

You have to go with Griffin or Luck

I agree but their papers were touting Blackman and Khali the OT from USC. Personally I'd take RG3.

I think it's a very very unusual situation, but essentially Griffin looks like a new Cam Newton and I think you go with that and try to recoup a 3rd or something for Ponder.

First rounders get less money now so missing on one isn't as big a deal as it was

If Minn traded down I don't think that would be bad for them. It depends on what they could get

'Bama defense is playing some ridiculously good defense tonight.  LSU is getting absolutely nothing on them right now.

If 'Bama somehow scores a TD and goes up 13-0, this game could be very well over.

Yeah the game sucks.  I'm about to go to bed.

LSU got lucky at home. Bama came looking for revenge in a big way and got it.  So Bama didn't even win their division of their league, but they win the national "championship". Another lost year in college football

Boy, I'm so glad they decided to give us rematch of these two teams.  ::)

Seriously, though, why are two teams from the same conference facing off the in "national championship" bowl?  Seems silly to me.  These two teams already had the opportunity to face each other in the regular season and compete for the same conference title.
