What gametracker told me:

- Perk had a very impressive game
- Pruitt is basically going to be a rookie point guard this year, we know what that means.  Energy, some scoring, and turnovers
- Eddie had another scintillating stretch in the third quarter.  Signing him and Tony Allen instead of Posey could end up being good for this team.
- Giddens is going to start the season in street clothes.
- Where is Sam?
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I think Giddens will be in Uniform playing in the NBDL.

I agree with the assesment of Pruit, especially regarding the TO's.  He had 5 today which is a little alarming but for now I'll chalk it up to inexperience.

Im not real impressed with Gabe's jumper.  Every one of those little snipits of playing time that he got last year he always came in and knocked down jumpers, and Ive heard he had a great jumper in college, but he was 4-12 today, I think thats something thats gotta improve if hes gonna be on the floor for any kind of time this season.

Pruitt was 3 assists shy of a triple double, so I think he had a very impressive game, and certainly promising. 3/6 from 3 ain't bad.

Pruitt showed that he is ready.  That's the second game in a row where he outplayed Devin Harris by a wide margin.

Pruitt's ability to defend on the ball is impressive.  NJ got nothing at the point of attack, which is why they shot 32% and couldn't break 70 points.

yea, i was of the mind that pruitt was going to be the odd man out, just due to guard depth, but he's just showing way to much to let go.

I think he's put the onius on darius now, and much as i like to root for the underdog to make it back from injury, i'd rather see miles cut than pruitt.

or, barring that, i'll take scal and baby to someone for 100 alex.  ;)
