Please no repeats of that last awful Bulls game.

No Kyrie tonight

This seems consistent with the "knee issue that may require offseason surgery to relieve soreness" story.

Yes it does. Seems he is gutting it out this season

City of Chicago is 0 for 2 with Kyrie sightings this year.

KI probably out of Minny game too. Sore knee might explain his last game's performance.

It's nice that the C's are a) unlikely to catch Toronto given the schedules and b) have a huge cushion for the #2 slot.  I think you are going to see them rest many of their players down the stretch to stay fresh and healthy for the playoffs.

Shane Larkin gets the start for Kyrie. Stevens wants to keep the leading bench rotations intact.

Nick Friedell of ESPN just reported that Shane Larkin (!) is getting the start tonight. I kinda like this move.

Larkin starting in Kyrie’s place over both Smart and Rozier. Who guessed that one?

I think this will ultimately work given both (a) we’re facing Chicago, and (b)  Larkin at the very least will hold his own defensively and keep the ball moving and initiate plays, but I think this is one of those situations where Brad overthinks things. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find another coach who would skip over his 2nd and 3rd best options at pg and go with his 4th best option solely to keep the bench units intact.

TP....Stevens is definitely overthinking this. Stupid move, IMO.

Great move. The bench is starting to click and Stevens doesn't want to disrupt their chemistry.

Brown is ultra aggressive.  Great defense on Dunn a few plays back too.

Bulls have no interior defense.

put Monroe in and let him EAT their rears.
