Did anyone else do a doubletake on this move by Tatum?  It was so quick and effective.  The guy jut keeps making exponential improvements.

So, we need to lose this so we can push the clock back and get Gordy back?

If they win tonight I almost wouldn't mind them dropping game 4 and then finishing it off in game 5.  Just so they're not too high on themselves heading into the next series.

By the way, has Nurse been fined for his comments about the refs yet? I know Nurse seems like an NBA golden boy, but those comments aren't allowed anymore, right?

I’ve thought a lot about the value of losing a game.  Not sure but I think a loss might be a good thing.

That said, maybe the biggest difference in all of sports is being up 2–1 v. 3-0.

Definitely.  Need to win this game before considering the merits of a loss.

just win. if you go up 3-0 and end up dropping a game thats fine. but 2-1 leaves open the possibility of a long series.

At some point doesn't the schedule need to slow down?  If the Celts and Heat both sweep, they're not going to just jump into the ECF are they?  If that series is a sweep too, then they'd be looking at a two week layoff for the Finals.

I think someone mentioned this on Reddit, but there's a high likelihood that if both the Heat and C's actually go on to sweep, then the ECF will have multiple games that have 2 full days off between games, to spread the schedule out. Meanwhile all West playoff games will be just every other day. So yeah, the schedule could slow down a bit. I do think they'd give the C's and Heat about 5-6 days off though if they win their series. Not a full week but close to it. Then the winners of the West series would  play just two days after it's determined what the WCF matchup is.
