A win's a win, but the Celtics shouldn't have let this one get into doubt in the fourth quarter. Luckily Perkins got an offensive board, hit two free throws, and then combined with Rasheed Wallace to play great D on Bosh/Bargnani and get steal. Then the Captain put the game away for good with a long jumper.

Rondo and Rasheed lead the Celtics in this game. Rondo posted his third career triple double and was all over the court. Rasheed was hot from deep, 5-7, and also made a variety of shots from the post. He also got to the line 4 times, 2 of his free throws were end of the game fouling to try and extend the game).

Weird notes from the box score. Ray, Paul, and Kendrick all scored 16 points. Another weird thing I noticed is that Perkins and BBD only had 1 defensive board each. I won't get on them for that because they both also pulled down five offensive boards. Perkins even got one in the clutch late. Just goes to show you that there are only so many defensive boards to go around, and Rondo got a lot of those. (oh and the Celtics out rebounded the Raptors by 3)

Rondo 3
Rasheed 3

Ray Allen and Perk both deserve some points, but R and R were the difference today for the Celtics.

I didn't see the game, but I'm assuming that Rondo and Rasheed will get a lot of support, too, huh?

It looks like Perk had a pretty good game, too.

Perkins missed stealing a point from Rasheed because he was only 4-10 from the FT line. But yeah he had a very good game.

BBD had a better game than it seems, he just got blocked at the rim 2 times. His other shot attempts were just tip ins that missed for the most part.

He saved 3 possession for the C's by diving for loose balls.

Would Richard Seymour have made any difference in this game?  Probably not, due to all the turnovers, but he certainly would have helped contain the running game.

Of course, Seymour couldn't fix the offense.  The Pats managed 7 points that weren't gifted to them.

Rasheed had a good game. I'd pick him or Rondo.

I did not see game either, but from looks of it Rondo was big with a Triple Double, so I gave him 2.

Sheed looked like he had his best game this season - 2.

1 for Perk and 1 for Ray Ray.

Pierce, Glen and Eddie had good contributions as well.

Great balance within the starting five tonight.

I went with :

3 Rondo
1 Ray
1 Pierce
1 Sheed

I would have voted for Perk too but his missed freebies hurt down the stretch.
