"Let the players figure it out"
"Cant waste a timeout,  just in case"

What is up with Brad? Meltdown vs Nets and tonight another dreadful loss. Lead with less than 10 sec and throws the game away

I thoroughly done with the Brad Stevens brand of basketball.

Where was Kantor or RWill for defensive rebounds.

Blown leads every game. Lethargic after halftime. Playing too much small ball.
happens. No fire from Stevens just everything is ok with whatever happens.

It's honestly a joke at this point. Kemba has gotten blown up in his last two 'just hold the ball and we win the game situations'. And then our game-winning plays are just awful fall-away long jumpers - like literally the lowest percentage shot in basketball.

It's probably a good thing the Cs are going through this stretch right now - maybe it will knock some sense into them. They are playing mindless, bad basketball and it is tough to stomach. Every time I think we just had our worst loss of the season, the team manages to outdo themselves. Bravo guys!  ::)

I haven't seen the game yet so won't comment on that specifically, but was Brad on the floor? How many shots did he miss? How many times did he turn the ball over?
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Timeout was needed

We missed several layups and Smart - as well as he played - had a crucial turnover on his last drive to the basket...

Coach Stevens didn't miss those layups.

Coach Stevens didn't dribble into a turnover (Kemba :'()

Don't know why we're trying to play Pin the Tail on the Stevens.

Hayward (and Smart) had the best overall games for us tonight...

I just think Kemba needs to get his legs back.

This team needs a little shot discipline. The 3 lowest percentage shooter take too many shots. The highest percentage scorers like Jaylen (when available) and Gordon take too few shots. Few inside scoring attempts at all...really no inside game at all.

Smart, Walker, and Tatum went a combined 19 for 52. That isn't going to win you many games. Just because you have a desire to recreate the style of Warriors doesn't mean you have the personal.

This is another thing that has driven me nuts lately. Stevens is legit the best coach in the NBA when it comes to ATO plays - like, hands down the best. I've seen enough ATO/designed play brilliance from him over the past 6 seasons that this fact shouldn't be controversial at all at this point.

Yet, lately every end of game or late quarter ATO or designed play has seemingly been a lazy iso-play to Tatum or a play that ends up with a rushed, bad shot due to too much passing up looks or going through the options.

I suspect the reason for that is that someone like Gordon takes high percentage shots. He doesn't just let it fly unless he has a good chance of making the shot. If he doesn't have a good shot opportunity he tries to find someone who has and tries to create a shot for them. He gets criticized a lot by people who don't watch the game and only look at the box score "oh Hayward only had 12 shot attempts he should shoot more" but it's not his style to just be a gunner and get 20 FGA for the sake of it.
