redz, i added u to the list, but still got ur msg.  so i guess a member can't ignore a mod

Well, you can still ignore us the old fashioned way, I suppose.  8)

i will do so ;D...but ur not one of the ones i would do that to redz.  tp for your help in answering my questions

So does this new thing ignore PMs sent to you or are post made by that person removed from your view?

Not that it matters. I don't plan on ignoring anyone.

Heck, I didn't even know it was there.

Or maybe I did know and was ignoring it. ;)

Depends on the circumstances and its taken case by case.  No amnesty at the start of each season.

Not going to really get into much more than that but you get the idea.

That's a topic for another thread, but in short, it would never, ever happen on an across-the-board basis.  People get banned for a reason (spam, racism, numerous personal attacks, refusal to obey rules), and undoing a lot of those bans would do nothing but make CelticsBlog a worse place.

is there any chance we can get a function to ignore someones forum posts? if not are there people on this site who know how to code that could make a Greasemonkey script to let us ignore people we put on a list.

apparently (based on me and redz trying it out), u can still see everything and interact in the forums.  the ignore feature looks like it only prevents pm's from being sent/received, and also a member cant block a mod
