Nice shooting mechanic for Rondo at the free throw line. His work seems to pay.

Another good move by Rondo.

Hey, anyone know how they score a missed alley-oop? Is it a turnover, a missed shot by the passer, or a missed shot by the would-be scorer?

a Turnover if the other team get possesion, a missed shot if we retain possesion

C's playing in green at home? Weird!

Are they wearing the retro uniforms? I love those.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Danke. TP for the info. I'd always wondered that. Certainly makes sense,

Nice run at the end of the 1st quarter, like we used to have when everybody was clicking together!

Now, the question is : will we able to sustain it and increase the lead or will we folder and play from behind after allowing the opponent to get back on track? I'm feeling confident this time.

just a little bit of defense and boston wins tonight....the raptors are like a broken dam spilling water everywhere on defense

C's shot over 80% for the quarter and are up by only 6 points.  They are on pace to give up over 100 points again tonight.

In the past a 33 point quarter for the C's meant a double digit lead easily.  That is the difference now, even when this team scores they don't build large leads.

It's becoming increasingly apparent that this team is not just waiting to turn on the defensive intensity --- they simply don't have it any longer...

Rondo so far:
5 assists, 8 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal, 2-2 from the line and 1 turnover.

I dig.

Their bench is uninspiring. Hopefully we won't have to deal with a random scrub putting up 20 on us.

Nice first quarter for Rondo. Good to see him digging in to start a game.
