What happened to Birdman?  He hasn't played.
They choose Haslem as their backup C over C.Anderson.

Only one big man on the floor at all times and Haslem is their non-Bosh big. Trying to put as much jump-shooting as possible on the floor to open things up offensively for their slashers (Wade, LeBron). I wonder if Haslem's midrange jump-shot gave him the edge over C.Andersen.

I would've gone with C.Andersen instead of Haslem myself. Kept glued Haslem to the bench.

Anyway, it's been working well for them so far. Kudos to Spoelstra for the lineup changes.

I don't think Parker gets as many looks at the rim if Birdman is playing.

Incredible athleticism and finishing ability on that baseline drive by Kawhi Leonard.

Yeah -- that is why I would go with the Birdman over Haslem as my backup center too if I were Spoelstra ... but I do agree with the only one big man on the floor policy. Especially with Popovich choosing to matchup against my small-ball lineup as often as he has in this series.

I think LeBron + Wade need that extra floor spacing to beat the Spurs defense. I believe they gain more offensively than they lose defensively by playing only one big. Net positive.

The refs just handed Miami three points through sheer incompetence.
what huh?

The refs gave Miami the ball when it was clearly out on Bosh.  The Heat then scored three points on that possession.
and another 2 with a complete in air shove off from Wade then dish to James for an easy dunk

Neal vs LeBron reminds me of Terry vs LeBron in 2011 Finals.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Manu really has to sit down for the Spurs. Not getting anything going offensively and is a liability defensively.
