I found an interesting tidbit in the article

Quote
Garnett and Pierce played with Collins in Boston last season, and one Celtics source said that Garnett was extremely frustrated when Boston traded him to Washington at the February deadline.

Good fit for him.  He's familiar with Kidd, KG, Pierce, Frank, etc.

I actually think it's a good fit for them all. Kidd will definitely lean on them and trust them.

I kind of would be surprised if he played in the NBA again honestly... I don't think it is fair, but he could very well bring a media circus with him wherever he goes. Media Circus can be worth it if a player is a starter or star, but for a 3rd string center it is hard to think teams will want that. I really do hope I am wrong though.

I'm not so sure about the media circus.  When I saw his name in the thread, I thought it was a 'so what' type of move -- he's not that good based on what we saw last year.

the other thing he's become known for was a complete afterthought until I read this last post.

I heard on ESPN radio that other reports said this move would be unlikely.

What does this say about Blatche?  It would make sense that the Nets are looking for a back-up center if they are afraid of losing Blatche to free agency, but on the other hand, Blatche seems to like it in Brooklyn and has said he is willing to take less money in order to "stick it" to the Wizards for amnestying him.
