The way you get credit here is to pickup a guy and put him in play either by keeping him or trading him. Even if you made a bad trade you still get credit for identifying talent and getting it
So as you can see....
the pickups of the year in terms of just points average are
Matt Barnes by Toines at 23.6.....this is a very recent pickup
Martell Webster at 21.9 by Bada Bing
Thabo S by Edgar at 20.3

Out of all those players, these are the one that I like heading into next season or at least IMO have potential to break out.

Alexy Shved 18 Utah (on YH)
Earl Clark 19.6 Pitt
Nando De Colo 10.5 Utah
Patrick Beverly 16.9 Jacks
Greg Smith 16.1 Pitts (on Jacks)

Bada Bing wins hands down for pickup of the year. Webster was good all season, especially late. Since I am the GM who dropped Webster, this was especially painful for me to watch.
However, I was personally was very happy to see Martell finally get over his back issues and put it all together. He's only 26 y/o and has a chance to be a good player for the Wiz. I hope he keeps it up.
