I know there is no possibility of Hayward getting traded because of the Stevens connection, but even so I'd love to see this trade.
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y6z54q6oHayward to Indiana for Myles Turner, Doug Mcdermott (for salary), and Alize Johnson (for salary).
Hayward goes back to Indiana and gives the Pacers another wing. For us, we need a legit, modern day NBA center with this lineup we have. Turner is young, is an elite rim protector/defensive specialist (led the league in blocks as well with 2.7 a game), and shoots the 3 at 38%.
Walker/Edwards/Waters
Smart/Langford
Brown/Dougie/Semi
Tatum/GWilliams/Theis
Turner/Kanter/RWilliams
With a rotation of:
Walker (34)/Smart (4)/Edwards (10)
Smart (26)/Brown (12)/Langford(10)
Brown (20)/Dougie (24)/Tatum (4)
Tatum (28)/GWilliams (14)/Kanter (6)
Turner (32)/Kanter (16)
Other thoughts:
I like JJJ as much as the next guy but I don't want to move Tatum for him.
I love Jaxson Hayes almost as much as anyone in this draft but moving Brown for him before he has established anything is too risky for me.
