He can be 7'0" but unless he ups his game this year this team isn't going anywhere.

Yeah, because averages of 23 / 7 / 3 on 45%, 40% and 80% shooting (or 25.7 / 10 / 5 as Tatum did in the playoffs) is just downright disappointing from a 22 year old.   

Oh it's not disappointing - to say the least.

Not disappointing until he fails to maintain those stats during an ENTIRE SEASON.

Tatum is pretty much our best player, now. He's going to have to make his teammates BETTER in taking that next step.

Hayward - for all his supposed warts - did just THIS during his 2016-17 season in Utah carrying THEM to the WCS.

As much as I LOVE Tatum come talk to me if he can carry those stats for an ENTIRE season - especially since he'll be the focal point of defenses, now.
