I don’t know about regular season wins, but Lebron would still give us the best shot at a title.

What are Danny and Brad gonna do for employment  :)

Sit back and polish their rings, like Frank Vogel.

probably, but I think Embiid would be awful darn close because the team doesn't have what Embiid has i.e. a true force at center on both ends of the floor.

So for fun, I'll say Embiid.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

My favorite would be Jokic.

Best might be Steph, Dame, or Beal.

Lebron, Westbrook, or Giannis would put the athleticism over the top.

In terms of long term contention over a decade Donvon Mitchell or Devin Booker would probably be best fits with Tatum and Brown.

Embiid seems like somewhat of gamble compared to Jokic.  It's practically guaranteed that Jokic will do what he does in the playoffs.  Embiid could be awesome but he is also a lot more likely to revolve around him than Jokic and there is always the chance that he'll be hurt or out of shape when it matters.  I think the Jays would be a little better off playing with Jokic also.

No question Embiid might be hurt, but he has always performed well in the playoffs.  When he has played of course.  His value is also unquestioned.  The Sixers have been awful without him on the floor and awesome when he plays.  And unlike Jokic he understands that defense matters.  Sure offense is more important, but defense does in fact matter.

With the Celtics awful health luck ,   We d be lucky if Embiid played 50 games in a two year contract .   Embiid has been a walking out patient since college for one thing or another .

Draft a guy with no known defects .    Took Sully with a bad back . uGH ....
