Great win against a strong team without one of our best players!
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA

I was dying on the 'Kemba is still in his prime' sword in the off-season and early season. So happy to see him come out and dominate when we desperately needed him. Tatum managed to put 15 points up, but he only had 8 with like 2 minutes left in the game. We are going to need good Tatum again very soon, but for now, I will bask in the greatness of Kemba with his killer shooting and like 23 charges taken tonight.

Take a victory lap on that one!

Haha - back at ya. Maybe I was just being more hopeful than anything else. Without a healthy, productive Kemba, our team's ceiling was so much lower, and his contract was in albatross level. The way he has been moving and adjusting his game for what the team needs (great ball-movement in the games leading up to this one) shows that he really is a great fit with this roster.

I know his contract still isn't amazing, but nobody else on the team can do what he does. There's a reason he was All-NBA, and he's still only 30. Kudos to him for learning to fit in with the Jays rather than having a temper tantrum for no longer being the #1 or #2 option.

Another Smart defense masterpiece. He has turned around after than CSN call out.
And he is taking his teammates with him.

It seemed to me that the Suns got a bit out of sorts when Booker got into foul trouble but still, a great game for the undermanned Celtics.

It was clear that the Suns' game plan was to double Tatum and make someone else beat them.  Tatum ended up 3-17 but we were still able to win.  That is a pretty important aspect of this game.  Teams are going to continue to double Tatum.  We need to be able to make them pay for this and in this game, we did just that.
