I was dying on the 'Kemba is still in his prime' sword in the off-season and early season. So happy to see him come out and dominate when we desperately needed him. Tatum managed to put 15 points up, but he only had 8 with like 2 minutes left in the game. We are going to need good Tatum again very soon, but for now, I will bask in the greatness of Kemba with his killer shooting and like 23 charges taken tonight.
Take a victory lap on that one!

Haha - back at ya. Maybe I was just being more hopeful than anything else. Without a healthy, productive Kemba, our team's ceiling was so much lower, and his contract was in albatross level. The way he has been moving and adjusting his game for what the team needs (great ball-movement in the games leading up to this one) shows that he really is a great fit with this roster.
I know his contract still isn't amazing, but nobody else on the team can do what he does. There's a reason he was All-NBA, and he's still only 30. Kudos to him for learning to fit in with the Jays rather than having a temper tantrum for no longer being the #1 or #2 option.
