Danny needs to find a way to bolster then bench or it will be another disappointing post season.

The cold truth is that this Philly team will be enough of a problem for us when we're at full strength.  We're not beating them without our best player.

Credit to Jaylen for doing everything he could to drag us to a W.  But he didn't have enough help.

Getting crushed on the boards

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Garbage, horrible night from everyone except Brown and Kemba. They can't do it alone. We need Tatum to come back. The fact we were in this game for as long as we were may be encouraging, with how badly we played.

Well, was always going to be tough to win in Philadelphia without Tatum, let alone with a recovering Kemba and Timelord  and no Romeo. And then to add losing PP on top of that, that's hard to overcome against a good team.

I think with Covid, this is just one of those stretches that you just have to shrug your shoulders about given bad timing with an outbreak on our team on top of other injuries. Every team will go through this this year, so luckily we're getting ours out of the way early in the season with Tatum and others.

This has been the same issue for like 4 years now.

Brown is clearly struggling out there and looking winded. Hard to blame him after his effort tonight.

Yeah unfortunately without Tatum and a minutes restriction Kemba he has to do everything because the rest of the team is playing like garbage
agreed.  if he had even just a moderate amount of support from the rest of the team, they'd have won or certainly be in this down the stretch with a chance to win.  Jaylen's looking gassed right now.

Smart may have 20 but it's been an ineffective 20

Smart is not an intelligent player - never has been. In fact, he is down-right dumb and a dumb veteran at that. Doesn't learn from mistakes.

He consistently takes bad shots, he is sloppy with the ball, he is either great or awful down the stretch of close games, he does not run the offense. I always thought he was the type player you needed to win a title - that intangible, big play hustle guy. Can you imagine how bad Marcus Smart would be in a tough, series-defining Game 4 in the Finals ?

I give it to the team they played hard against one of the tough teams in the east. They will be better with Tatum back in the line up
With no bench and Smart playing like crap beating these guys is a lot to ask. Doesn't help when you get such negative performances from Teague and GWill. They actually did more the help the Sixers win than the Celtics.

So there is no chance the C’s get by the Sixers with their current big man rotation. They are making Embiid look like Wilt out there. It’s pathetic.

Pretty confident we beat them with Tatum.
