Players don't get enough minutes or touches, so let's just rest players every game. Thus every game we rest two players, while the players that do play can get the minutes to get in a rhythm. And our star players will have more freedom as they share the court mostly with role players. Our bench players even get some minutes, since they know their role.

Every game 1 guard/wing and 1 wing/big is out of the line-up. When the playoffs come you just play the rotation that worked the best.

New MPG rotation will look something like this:

Guards: Irving (32), Smart (28), Rozier (28), Wanamaker (8 )
Wings: Brown (32), Tatum (32), Hayward (28), Morris (24), Ojeleye (12)
Bigs: Horford (28), Theis (20), Baynes (20), Williams (12), Yabusele (8 )

For example (1)

Next game you rest Irving and Baynes. Then you have the following minutes distribution:

PG: Rozier (28), Smart (12), Wanamaker (8 )
SG: Brown (32), Smart (16)
SF: Hayward (28), Tatum (12), Morris (8 )
PF: Tatum (20), Morris (16), Horford (12)
C: Horford (16), Theis (20), Williams (12)

Ojeleye (DNP) and Yabusele (DNP), since Baynes' absence doesn't give up enough minutes.

For example (2)

The game after that you rest Tatum and Horford. Then you have the following minutes distribution:

PG: Irving (32), Rozier (16)
SG: Smart (28), Rozier (12), Brown (8 )
SF: Brown (24), Hayward (12), Ojeleye (12)
PF: Morris (24), Hayward (16), Yabusele (8 )
C: Baynes (20), Theis (16), Williams (12)

Wanamaker (DNP) not needed for spot-up minutes.

You’re just shuffling around the same players who are failing right now. Need to do something dramatic. This ain’t it.
