Kotchman has got to be going someplace else, solid first baseman that is cheap.  Prob to a small market team for a pitcher or something.  Who knows

Its a very interesting idea.  I think more likely though, Kotchman will be flipped to a low payroll team for a reliever or something.  While LaRoche is the better player, Kotchman is younger, and has a smaller contract, which should make him more palatable than LaRoche was to a lot of teams.
