Mark Price?  High praise, guys.

He was only a 4-time All-Star and actually made All-NBA 1st Team once. Pritchard easily has Mark Price beat.

The lack of depth on the wing was glaring.

Thats ok

Celts can stack Waters on top of Edwards

I don’t think that helps...

Danny needs to go get Harden...get a third team involved and send Kemba and a bunch of scrubs and picks for Harden. Teague, Smart, and Pritchard can handle the load at point.

Every Celtic can take away from this game that they were at least better than Marv Albert. He's been teetering for a few years, but I think it's time to pull the plug.
My Lord, he was awful!! He kept mentioning Doc as being the Celtic coach.

And Webber sounded like he was half asleep and was struggling to get the words out of his mouth. A slow talker for sure.

Watching this game on TNT was a struggle. And it didn't help that they couldn't flash the right score for a major portion of the second quarter. I kept looking online to ESPN to figure out the score.

I just got reacquainted with Mark Price's game.... yeah that is very  high praise for PP but hope he gets to Mark's stratosphere.

it was a different era , with a more strick point role.

want PP to,work on his intangible natural instinct,  passing and court vision ....set up Brown and Tatum .   But always a danger to leave open .

Teague is a pro ...still.

Mark Price. Second player ever to average 50/40/90 in a season.

Hey, despite the 9 turnovers, Boston was able to hold a 10 point lead at the end of the 1st  :o

I forget that a lot of people here didn't have to deal with that. Like, literally the most errors I've ever heard in a game bad. And despite Webber being less than impressive, he still ran circles around Marv. I feel for him.

All right, let's get the bad news out of the way for tonight's game...

Brown couldn't hit a barn
Robert fouled everybody
Having three players who are under 6 foot on the floor at the same time is tricky in a game where the basket is ten feet off the floor
Edwards may have hit bottom
Marv has assuredly hit bottom

On the bright side Pritchard will average 17 points and 8 assists for his career in Boston....which makes all the bad news look like nuttin'...

Nesmith rebounding was more impressive than his shooting tonight

I pray it he will have more good shooting nights vs bad

Couldnt stomach another James Young worse case

Saddiq Bey also has looked good in preseason.  Can shoot and dribble =T

not sure Carsen Edwards had a better night.

Poor guy needs to go anywhere else - he needs a chance with a rebuilding team to just fire away. We were able to shed Poirier and his salary, but Carsen is guaranteed through 2022. We have enough money left in the $5M slush fund to dump him for nothing, but not sure a team is going to want the money on the books for next season regardless of the money we send out. Any veteran wing would be better than Edwards on this roster.

PP didnt make many mistakes tonight. He made less than Waters + Edwards combined. Only two bad ones were tough passes to Tacko. Passes were too low

Harsh

But this ones on Danny. He didnt have to bring back Waters or Tacko. Maybe Tacko is ok

Edwards also.

Instead like some others pointed out, Celts could have kept Bane or Xavier Tillman instead
