Russell Westbrook can still play, despite not being a superstar anymore.
This move will make the Wizards a playoff candidate.

I like this move by the Wizards. Beal is definitely a better player than any of their rookies will ever be.
So they have given him some help.

Not sure if there is a winner in this trade....wonder how Bradley Beal feels about this and if he'll push his way out of Washington now???

Don't underestimate Wall, he's primed for a comeback and would be great next to Harden. This is a win for Houston

If you believe Bill Simmons, Beal has been pushing for this trade to happen.

I was wondering who would win the fight to stay in Houston. Harden or Westbrook or the new GM that wants to blow it up?

Well, there goes Westbrook. Is Harden next?

How long has it been since Wall has even played?

Didn't Shepperd just say a week ago he's not trading Wall saying how he's looking forward to the best back court pairing from 2 years ago?

Wow! If, and it's a huuuuge if, Wall can get back to his 2015-2018 form then he provides a really solid halfway point between Westbrook and Chris Paul. Better passing and shooting than Westbrook displayed at Houston, better athleticism and scoring than Paul did. That's a big if though.

Interesting move by Washington. They now have the #1 and #2 guys in FGA per game from 2019-20.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

A trade that won’t move the needle for either team.
This puts Washington in the running for the 7-8 seed and really doesn’t add much for Houston in the west.
I guess it’s a hope and pray it makes the other guys happy kind of trade

Wall and Beal definitely aren’t fans of one another.  I think he’ll like Westbrook even less.
