Just a quick thought, with Thibs now the coach and President of the T-Wolves I wonder if he would make this offer to his old team

Lavine + #5 + Dieng + Muhammad +Pek

for

Butler + Gibson + #14

Bulls, if they have any real reason to move Butler at least this trade gives them a rising young guard who at 21 is coming off of a 14ppg season in Lavine, a solid starting caliber center in Dieng and a scoring SF to add to the rotation in Muhammad. The pick moving up 9 spots to #5 would put them in a position to draft Dunn and then possibly move Rose. That would give the bulls a solid group of talent to go into a rebuild with (if that is their plan)

T-Wolves, the trade speeds up their growing process. Butler starting along side Wiggins could form a very tough big athletic 2/3 combo and adding Gibson at the PF would solidify this team as potentially a top defense in the NBA. The talent drop for #5 to #14 isnt to drastic and should still allow the T-Wolves to add a talent to help the team long term. (maybe D Jackson out of notre dame as a Rubio backup)
