maybe it is best we do face the heat in the second round if we hold onto the 4th or 5th seed. we will be fresher than last year plus we have more depth this year.

I have a feeling that we will be playing atleast one 7 game series in the playoffs. So that may be an advantage if they do play them sooner then later.

4 games behind the Knicks I think the Celtics smell blood

Let's do it.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Celtics focus should be on Chicago and Brooklyn, they are the ones within striking distance, not the Knicks...

6th seed and rising... aside from that tiny hiccup during the stretch where Barbosa went out and we were incorporating Crawford (where we lost 4 games), this team has been brilliant since our 3rd best player partially tore his ACL.

Bradley always gets clutch offensive boards.

One day he will have a game winning putback (I'm looking at you Ray, when your putback got blocked by Pau.)

Get ready for a last-second loss, everyone. Way too many turnovers and missed open shots.

I find it very, very hard to imagine a scenario that ends up with Atlanta winning this game.

Quoted for posterity.

You guys just give up too easy. Atlanta is not the dregs of the league, they made a run in a road game. It happens. I still don't believe Boston loses this game. If they do, then I will add being wrong to my sorrow, but I do not have faith they can complete the comeback against the Celtics.

I'm just messin with you.  ;D I do give up too easily sometimes, but these guys are just so frustrating.

Oh no doubt, I understand completely why you would give up on them. No reason this game should not be a 3 point lead for Boston instead of an overtime.

I'll tell you this, if Atlanta can pull off this OT win, I will be impressed. Nothing I have seen in this game - including that run - makes me believe they have the stones to do it. But, as you say, if Boston keeps playing with their heads in their shorts, then anything can happen.

Doc did, in fact, come up with a scenario where Atlanta can win though. Park it in Pierce's hands for 10 seconds, then force KG to take a shot he would have the same chance of making blindfolded. Genius.

I'm glad to say that you were right and I was wrong!
