I had to take a dramamine to watch Heat/Lakers. That floor and uniforms makes me sick.

One of the few times that I will root for the lakers, we need to get a 4/5 seed.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

The color scheme is some vaporwave bulls*** that's super hard to look at.  Completely agree.

Not liking the Miami vice colors? Lol. It’s pretty bad...

Also, how do people feel about Miami  now that they have Oladipo? Solid starting lineup with Oladipo, D-Robinson, Butler, Ariza, and Adebayo. Some decent Bench players  too: Herro, Iguadala, Dragic..
Could be tough come playoff time.

Brooklyn with 79pts at halftime, Smh. KD is back, no Harden, though.

Just hand them the trophy already.

Doesn't work that way. ;)

You could have saved a lot of time last year if you had just handed the chip to the Lakers. We’re they not prohibitive favorites to win it all?

Actually they weren’t.  Bucks were favored pre-bubble.  Also, 2007 Patriots say hello.

Bucks? lol

This is a weird season. I'm really not sure about any of the teams in the East. Health is going to play a huge part and also whoever has their chemistry will be clicking in the playoffs. The Heat just dumped Crowder and Olynyk. I'm not sure Miami is as good as last year. I don't know why Oladipo is starting over Dragic.

And..... Oladipo exits with a knee injury. Dude just can’t catch a break.

That’s fine, but you are laughing at Vegas.  Keep talking like you know everything though.

While disagreeing with Vegas is generally a poor proposition, championships odds aren't about accuracy because they aren't reversible. Teams will be consistently overrated when the sports book sees an opportunity.

That was kind of my point.  Betting odds change with circumstances, including what bets are being placed on whom.  They are fluid and fluctuate throughout a season.  The underlying point is that there is uncertainty in sports, as in all aspects in life.  To claim otherwise would be false bravado.  The poster made a claim that the games shouldn’t even be played.  My guess this is typical sports talk hyperbole.  But when called on it, they doubled down with a logically invalid argument using a provably false premise.  But that what people do in sports talk.  They make bold statements, loudly and authoritatively, as if they know the future.  They can do this because there is no real cost to making statements like this on a message board.  But my guess is no one will be betting their life savings on ANY sports team to win a championship.  Are the Nets in good position and among the favorites?  It certainly appears so.  But there are still unanswered questions with them, and more importantly, they still have to EARN IT.  So that is why we still play the games.

Gotta love how Rondo raises his level of play whenever facing CP3. He’s been just OK since joining the LAC and of course it’s going to take some time for him to figure out his new teammates, but he sure seemed to do just that last night.

Played 19 mins and had 15 pts, 9ast, 4reb, with zero TO. Shot  5-8 from the field, 2-3 from 3pt and was 2-2 from the line. Had a +24 in efficiency, highest on either team. Can’t play much better than that.

The hate runs deep.
