Damien Harris is a very articulate and garrulous young man. I see future Patriots captain in him if he keeps it up.

Sorry Sony Michel. I know you're a great guy but I think your time here is numbered. Damien Harris looks like the real deal and plays very tough (breaking tackles, not going down on initial contact,  etc.)
Great, another wasted draft pick lol. Please stay healthy Wynn, so at least one of our 1st round picks was worth it in the past few years.

Wynn's actually been a beast when he's healthy, so agreed. He looked really good tonight too.

Worth noting, the Pats may be 4-5 but they've been competitive in all of these games except 1 (Niners game). Despite the record I'll admit, I'm having fun watching Cam and this team. Hasn't been pretty but at the same time it's kind of fun rooting for an underdog. And we've seen everything happen (COVID, this monsoon game, etc.). The 2nd half of last season though just felt miserable and it kind of looked obvious Brady checked out and was ready to leave.

One game at a time. Next up is the 2-win Texans. Take care of business there and keep chugging along.

I didn’t realize Nkeal Harry was playing? They must’ve been using him as a blocker as Meyers was the only receiver to get targeted. Meyers might not have the same pedigree but he is miles better at getting open.

Our 1st round WR has been delegated to blocking because he got his job stolen by an undrafted QB-to-WR convert. Feels bad man.

Do I sense 2011 Giants with this team? It's a long shot sadly.

I put this loss mostly on the defense. They got shredded. And what the hell are they doing playing so much soft zone?? Reminded of the Patricia days (ugh). Cam can only do so much but when the O-Line is also struggling he's on an island. No one can do much with those weapons. Not even Brady as we saw late last season

Watson shredded them and trucked DMac which was embarrassing. But our O line wasn’t much better and why didn’t we protect Cam better against the blitz? He was under pressure all day and they didn’t make adjustments.

Watching lots of Univ of Florida football this fall. Pats need to draft Kyle Pitts, TE from Florida. In 6 games he has 30 receptions, 500 yards and 11 TDs. Kid is a Gronk clone. Mocks say he will be available around pick 10. That sounds doable.

What about a quarterback in round 1?

As sad as it sounds, our current w/l pace might not even let us get a top 4 QB let alone a top 2.
It might be wise to draft a dominant player at a position of need, not reach on a QB. (If we trade up im all for that.)

My thinking exactly. If you can't get bonafide almost sure things at QB in Lawrence, Fields or Wilson go get the best TE and make whatever QB you have that much better.

Poor Cam Newton. Imagine how much better he would be this year if he had a stud TE!
