Bad refs!!!
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

wow, just wow.

those last 2 plays pretty much demonstrate the inconsistency of officiating by these refs tonight.

Tonight?

How is that not a foul on Captain?

Granted, he's 1-of-6 tonight from the line.

Tonight?
just as a small sample for tonight.  they've stunk all night but those 2 consecutive plays pretty much put the officiating bias on full display

Let's give a lot of credit to the Nets tonight.  They came to the Garden prepared to play tough, physical, swarming defense and they've made some big shots and moved the ball pretty well while frustrating the Celtics at every turn.  In a word, they've beaten the Celtics at their own game.

I hope I'm not the only one saying "Ball don't lie!"  every time the Nets brick another one.

Seriously.  This is exactly the crap that starts that stuff.  When players don't feel that the refs are looking after them, they take things into their own hands.

What I was getting at is.. Just tonight? I'd dare say they've been painfully inconsistent all year so far.

Refs have sucked tonight.

I know we're usually not allowed to say that when the Celts play bad though
