I vaguely recall being a good mood sometime before 7:30pm.

  • You say when......
Celticsblog. Where hypocrisy lives. Rondo haters killing him for what they praise other players for (*cough Bird *cough). People love KG's intensity but hate Rondo's? Shocking to see who comes down on Rondo for that. The kind of thing people love in most players gets criticized in Rondo. Cheers to Rondo. Cause standing up for your teammates is just the worst!

And 0 games. For a shove? He got ejected. He isn't being suspended.

I'd cut people a little slack.  Much like the 'fight,' it was heat of the moment, and people were reacting to the situation immediately.

Eh, the predictable people said predictable things. My fault for coming back around these parts to see the reaction. Back to staying away for me. Forget how pleasurable the NBA could be without so much naysaying. Ok, I;m a jerk, but still.
no...i agreed with you.....i said heat of the mo....a while back also...!

Avery is a terrible coach and he has outcoached doc tonight with their defense

Lakers and celts = pretenders

Lakers have 2 top 5 players in the league. Good enough to reach WCF with ease.

Not going to happen

Jeff's really in some pain.. Feel bad for him. Hopefully it's just a strain.

actually re-watching that play, KG was on his way down, Humphries gave him an additional push...that's a dirty play.
That should have been a flagrant...it was unnecessary contact

Definitely. It was an excessive movement from Humphries' side.
Flagrant one should have been given.

Wish Lee gave some boost from the bench right now.

Wish Lee gave some boost as a trade chip

Yeah, but it's not happening anyway.

I am shocked by how badly the Celtics continue to play after the "fight." I fully expected they would make a run given the Nets are down 2 bigs and the Celtics would be peeved.

Instead, Pierce is playing with his eyes closed, Lee is unable to tell the difference between a black jersey and a white one and Stackhouse is killing us.
This. Your best (can be argued) player just put everything on the line and you can't even try and win?
I thought they would come out and play better but I guess it didn't happen.

These refs are horribly, horribly inconsistent.

You should stay.  I know there are some people here who aren't as optimistic or positive as others, but their actions shouldn't keep you from posting.  If you don't appreciate another's comments, just ignore it.

I think the most important thing with forums (and blogs, for that matter) is learning to stick with you.  By that I mean you shouldn't feel discouraged from posting because somebody else doesn't have the same opinion.  Just be you, talk to people like you, and your experience will be much better.

Here's a TP!

at this point, where can the blame be laid?

The players have shown they have talent -- just not as this collective unit.  Is it on Danny for not getting a better mix of players?  Is it on Doc for not getting this roster playing as a team?  is it on the players for suddenly not producing this year?

Can't blame it on age this year.  only KG, PP and JET are 'old'.
