David Price has admitted he loves playing video games (fortnite) and loves to play after a baseball game until 2-3am.   On off days may have video game marathons

Karl Anthony towns recently spotted with De Aaron Fox playing endless video games (see pic below).

The list of athletes addicted to video games is long

Now look.. not saying athletes or anybody else on their spare times , can't play video games etc.  But when playing too much video games causes carpal tunnel (Price) or you do this half the offseason instead of hitting the gym (example Fox seriously needs to hit the gym), or watch film etc..  I think there is something wrong with this picture.   I think teams should add clauses to minimize athletes playing video games during regular season/playoffs.   It's kind of ridiculous if you think about it.

You're basing this on what exactly??

Minimising video game playing is pretty hilarious.

I'm not saying your wrong, but maybe it's possible that while they aren't playing video games, they are actually hitting the gym.

I mean, most of the Lakers (Kuzma, Hart, etc.) have been playing video games and so has Ben Simmons among others. Not like it's just a select few, I'm sure EVERYONE plays video games.

So does Gordon Hayward. He still does in his time off, BUT he also rehabs and spends a lot of time each day rehabbing. Should he be banned from video games or just limited to like 30 minutes/day??  :P

This is Ridiculous...

No one plays and practices 24 hours a day...

These are Millionaire's - I wonder what else could they be doing with their time...

Maybe they should Gamble Like Jordan and Barkley.. Or maybe have a bunch of Kids like Kemp and Howard.. Maybe Take the Kobe tour up to Colorado... OR better yet follow Magics lead...

There are many worse things than video games..

You can't just say it's "due to videogames" without proof. The team suspects it might have contributed, but you're making definitive statements based on nothing.

Also, surprisingly, people are able to both play videogames and go to the gym. Mighty Mouse Demetrious Johnson live-streams himself playing videogames all the time, and he's a UFC Champ. Is he not in good enough shape because he games too much??

Embiid has said his PS4 goes with him on the road all the time.  Personally, I'd much prefer a player to play video games as opposed to going out clubbing.  Playing video games doesn't take time away from practice or training.  Teams setup their practice facilities with all the amenities including video game systems so that players will spend much of their downtime there.

Should he be in the gym 24 hours a day for the entire offseason? Do you think that that would be possible/healthy/actually helpful?
I'm bitter.
