Kaminsky is not good enough for anyone to take on Batum. Wishful thinking MJ.

The moment he made this pick, I knew it was a mistake.

Batum's contract is terrible, but he is shooting 40.2% from 3 on 3.3 attempts a game.  So they might actually be able to find a taker if they get back a poor contract or from a team that won't have cap space anyway.  Like contracts aside, the Sixers would be better with Batum than Chandler.  I know you can't put contracts aside (especially for matching purposes), but that is the type of team that might have a use for Batum (it would be almost impossible for the Sixers to acquire Batum without including Fultz though so I don't really see a trade happening).
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I’m going to guess that they won’t be offered four first rounders this time.

What was Danny smoking? Brooklyn and Memphis picks?

I guess better to be lucky than be good.

As for Justice Winslow?? That would've been a fiasco.

The fact that Jordan was so enamored with this guy out of college and now wants to trade him says alot.

No thanks to Frank the Tank.

Do you think Jordan has nightmares about the day Danny called and he said no to a treasure trove of firsts? I wonder if he even countered.

Wonder when they just acknowledge that they need more pieces and trade Kemba Walker. Danny should be all over that. Morris, Rozier, and  Brown.  Helps both teams now and later.

You want Kemba and Irving as the backcourt?  Say goodbye to our defense.

Also to any balance, lol. 2 alpha point guards on offence doesn’t seem like a good idea

Why not?  We have, like, at least 5 alpha wings. Might as well upgrade and consolidate talent.

I like 3-player rotations at the positions, 9-player rotation. 3 each guards, wings, bigs/centers. Rozier and Brown compete for that 3rd slot of full-time or starter minutes, 30+ per. Smart pairs with anyone. I'd say Brown/Rozier + filler for Kemba is two half-dollars for a buck, nets better shooting, playmaking, and consistency, though with a drop off in defense. The D problem is mitigated by keeping Smart, and the deep bench guard likely being a minimum contract 3 and D veteran.  The Irving/Walker backcourt time overlap could be limited.

trading Brown plus two guys who are gone July 1 for an all star, and clearing up the roles and rotation, with actually better Kyrie insurance for those thinking that's important after last year. Didn't seem too bad.
