All star game has a great medical trainer.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Stevens was ok with him having some basketball related activity.. He knows the Allstar games have no bearing with no effort and no defense type basketball activity...Irving will be fine.

LeBron James and Brandon Ingram willed their way over a win against the Rockets.

Looks like the Lakers are back at the .500 column.

he thought it was tuff in Cleveland dragging them to the playoffs ,   he has his work cut out for him out west .

He can do this most games , long as he can keep his focus or why should I waste my time or energy debate that rages in his tiny mind.  fragile, mental state of thinking he needs to play all out.  It seems the Laker fans are not shy about calling him out for, standing around saving energy making a play here and there.  If he doesn't at least pretend to care ,  star players are becoming less enchanted about teaming with him .  He is a two faced snob.

I didn't know K-Love was back. I thought Cleveland would hold him out for the rest of the season to try and get the best lottery chances possible.

That is good to see.

DeRozen just handed the Raptors the lead with 15 secs to go and then was too afraid to take the shot on the next possession.

That was the weirdest thing ever. They made a huge deal overturning a call on Lowry's out of bounds rebound (which I thought should have stood - did he really establish position inbounds?) and then everybody just accepts a blatant backcourt violation on Kawhi.

I am not saying the Spurs would have won...or that it even affects our playoff positioning...but SAS could have had a clear shot for the win there.

I liked how when the play by play guy gave the BS rationalization he got from the refs and Doris was still like "yeah I don't buy that at all"

Another close game, another instance of NBA officials affecting the outcome of games with their incompetence  ::)

Nader hit big 3 in OT and made big steal in double OT win for OKC. Happy for him.

I know you're just riffing, but NBA reffing g seems really difficult, do you think you (or someone else) could do a better job?

You are right ... Bball is not is easy to officiate but there are more than obvious calls that the refs miss in crunch time and very often determine results

They are supposed to be trained to avoid mistakes anyone could see.

Players are so big and fast these days I wonder if it’s time to revisit the whole 3 refs idea, and they run the whole game without a break like the players get.  Maybe have 2 refs on each side, and they get a little bit of a mental break when the ball is on the other side of the court.
