Ohio State definitely doesn't look like a Top-4 playoff team in the nation.

Also, Missouri is a team to really watch out for. 5-0, already beat a ranked K-State earlier this season, and up 2 scores on ranked LSU so far today.

And as I say that, LSU takes the lead lol.

Texas could also be on upset alert now. Ohio State tied. Wow

At this point in the season, there don't appear to be any elite teams.  This would be a good season for the 12-team playoff to start.

Yeah there's a lot more parity. I'm very excited for the 12-team playoff, they should have had that from the beginning. So that even for non-Power 5 teams, they have a shot.

My prediction, I think we'll see a PAC-12 team in the playoffs, probably Washington or Oregon IMO (they face off against each other next week btw). If Texas loses today, Florida State has a pretty clear path to make it as well. Although if Penn State impresses down the stretch and can beat Ohio State and Michigan, that makes things very intriguing.

Georgia and Michigan have had very easy schedules to date. Michigan will play some tough teams late, but Georgia's schedule is just easy all the way through to the SEC Champ. Game probably. But to me, they do not look like the true #1 team in the nation. They've been on upset alert like 3 times already this season, two of them to unranked teams

Hard to disagree. So far, it feels like Florida State, Michigan, Washington and Oregon have looked like the cream of the crop. Granted, Michigan's played an easy schedule to date and some things will sort themselves out (Michigan plays Penn State + Ohio State later, and Washington-Oregon-USC all play each other over the next month).

Florida State feels like the most complete team and well-balanced all around. They have had a few scares vs. BC and Clemson, but those are division rivals who basically treated the game as "their championship game". And to their credit, FSU dug deep and won them. They did have the convincing win over LSU to start the year when LSU was ranked 8 to start.

Bama tried everything it could to pull defeat from the jaws of victory but somehow managed to get the win on the road.  It is hard to root for a stupid undisciplined team.  Going to have to watch some Bama 2020 highlights to get in a better mood.

The last 4 plays by USC at the end of regulation might be the weirdest execution of offense that I have ever seen. It was almost as if each player that touched the ball for USC was trying to lose the game.

Ohio State obviously struggled a bit in the 1st half, but they were playing an unbeaten conference opponent.  They looked very good in the 2nd half though and won by 20.  They've at least played some decent teams and haven't lost.  The big 3 in the big ten should be interesting games.

Went to bed and Colorado was winning 29-0.  Woke up to find out they lost.  The Coach Prime honeymoon is over and we won't have to hear about it anymore.  So happy about that.

Most excited about Oregon-Washington today.  Nice midafternoon game too.  (Basically a monsoon here in Chicago today)

Some other decent games.

USC @ ND
MiA @ UNC
UCLA @ ORE ST.
AUB @ LSU

Georgia, Michigan, & Ohio St look like they all have sleepers on the paper so will any of them actually be put to the test

Vande up 7-0 on Georgia and missed a FG that would have made it 10-0.  Interesting start to game.  OSU missed a PAT but had no issue moving ball against Purdue.

I'm feeling an upset tonight, I think Notre Dame beats USC. USC has been really shaky lately and I think they'll finally go down. Their defense is still horrible, even though Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams lead that electric offense.

Also a bold prediction, I think whoever wins Washington-Oregon today will make the playoffs. The PAC-12 is loaded this year with a bunch of ranked teams, but whoever can come out of it undefeated will probably make the playoffs as a 3 or 4 seed. I think it's one of WAS/ORE, and whoever wins today will beat USC as well and win out. Just feel there'll be a PAC-12 team in the playoffs this winter.
