C's just traded away their starting PG, so it makes no sense to trade away the next 2 guards to get...a guard who will be backed up by unproven JD Davison. The guard depth would be weak.

The reason I suggest this trade is because Brogdon we don't know how long he'll be out and how he'll come back.  Pritchard has already said he wants to be traded.  So to bring in a free agent guard with Porter Jr. plus Davison and White isn't really that bad of an idea.  Specially when you're looking longer terms since you're going to loose Pritchard anyways.
