Can someone explain this to me?

I'm honestly baffled.

They got two meh picks, but just took on Johnson, who's contract is paying him nice $$$, in return of giving up their star receiver....

I feel like this is somewhat karma for the Astros, but Jesus Christ that is an awful trade.

Yep, absolutely mystifying to me. If I were DeShaun Watson I would be livid
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

My question would be: how did another team not beat that offer?

Depends on if David Johnson is healthy.

I think the Texans like their other WRs, a lot. Combine that with the fact that they've always struggled to get a good RB for Watson.

It's not like Hopkins doesn't struggle with injuries either.

Yeah I'm going to disagree with this take entirely.

Johnson hasn't even been relatively good, he's also getting paid $10.2 million.

I could understand it, if he put similar numbers to his 2015-2016, but he's been extremely underwhelming the past 3 years.

Whether or not Hopkins is consistently injured, I think I'll take a chance on one of the best receivers in the game.

This is also in relation to the Texans refusing to pay their star players when they start asking for an extension.

But I guess it does make sense. To be honest, I don't really know much about their wide receivers.. But are any of them even good?
