Two entertaining games yesterday, albeit, for different reasons.

LSU absolutely rolled Oklahoma but the story was Joe Burrow who is most likely the first pick in the upcoming draft.  7 TDs and 493 yards passing while rushing for another TD in as impressive of a college performance you’ll ever see.

An instant classic with Clemson & Ohio State.  Buckeyes blow a 16-0 lead yet come back to lead with just over 3 minutes to go before Trevor Lawrence, possible #1 pick in the 2021, leads the game winning drive.  Lot of drama with some questionable refereeing calls. Very entertaining game.

Sets up a heckuva national title down in New Orleans with the Tigers facing the Tigers. Given what we saw out of LSU and the fact the game is in their own backyard, the edge certainly seems to point their way.  Just stinks that we have to wait until Jan 13th.

I didn't think OU would win, but thought it would be closer than that.    :o         Joe Burrow, just WOW...     I thought Clemson would win, that was a great game, not for sure if LSU can be beat, they really look Unbeatable...         Glad to see some College Football talk on here...

I think OSU got hosed. I’m glad that Clemson won, but I wish it were under different circumstances.

Burrow had the most impressive bowl game I’ve ever seen, and no exaggeration, he could have easily ended up with 600+ yards and 10+ total touchdowns if LSU played all out to the whistle.

Clearly my Buckeyes needed to kick less FG's, but the overturn on the fumble recovery for a TD was a terrible call.  He took 4 steps.  If 4 steps isn't good enough for a catch, I don't know what a catch is.  In addition, they ruled it a fumble on the field so it had to be indisputable to overturn and the fact that so many people, including the broadcast team thought it was a catch, it isn't indisputable.  Buckeyes likely win the game if that one isn't overturned.

They probably got the targeting call right, but I have a problem with reviews in that situation.  It wasn't flagged on the play, so if you go to review, you should review the whole play and Clemson's offensive lineman clearly had their hands up in Chase Young's face.  Why not call that penalty also and offset them (and still kick Wade out).  Had they thrown the flag for targeting and then just reviewed if it was correct, I'd have less issue with it, but to review a play when no flag was called, they should review the whole play and not just pieces of it (which for the record is why I don't like reviewing pass interference calls in the NFL, review the whole play or none of it).

Picked LSU to win, and it's looking like it'll be that. If Clemson doesn't stop LSU right after halftime, this could end up a blowout too.
